About the Role
As a result of an internal appointment, the Planning department currently has a full-time permanent position available. As the Coordinator of Statutory Planning, you will provide specialist advice, lead key projects, and guide the statutory planning team to deliver outstanding outcomes. We are seeking a dynamic leader who will mentor and develop the team, drive business improvements, and collaborate effectively with key stakeholders to negotiate high-quality statutory planning results that benefit both the community and the broader municipality.
About the Successful Candidate
The successful applicant will hold a tertiary qualification in Town Planning and have demonstrated experience in a similar role, bringing specialist planning knowledge, strong leadership and people management skills, and the ability to understand and implement process changes in alignment with the Planning and Environment Act and its Regulations.
