- Join a multi-disciplinary emergency management team focussed on creating safer and more resilient communities.
We’re looking for a passionate and motivated Senior Community Resilience Officer to lead the delivery of three community-focused initiatives aimed at supporting recovery and building long-term resilience following the February 2024 weather event. You’ll also play a key role in supporting the part-time Community Resilience Officer as part of a broader recovery effort across the region.

About the Role
In this role, you will:
- Deliver engaging education and psychosocial support programs to primary school students, helping them build resilience and preparedness for the future.
- Lead the creation of a People at Risk in Emergencies Action Group, including the development of vital policy and strategy.
- Partner with Landcare groups, catchment management authorities and local environmental organisations to design and implement a tree replacement program that revitalises reserves and open spaces across the Shire.
