About the Role
Baw Baw Shire Council has a fantastic opportunity to join Council’s Finance Team as an experienced and qualified Management Accountant.
This position plays an important role in the preparation of the annual budget, forecasting, monthly reporting, quarterly reports, annual reports and performance monitoring.
This position is also responsible for efficient and effective systems management and the asset management function.
About the Successful Candidate
Our ideal candidate has relevant tertiary qualifications and experience and has or is working towards CPA or CA status.
Previous experience in multi-functional organisation and in a similar accounting role, including annual budget, budget review, forecasting processes, management financial reports, would be preferred.
Experience managing staff and working across multiple areas of an organisation will be highly regards.
