About the Role

Baw Baw Shire Council is looking for a collaborative and motivated candidate to join our team in the newly created role of Strategic Service Planner.

You will be our service planning expert, working across the organisation to develop and implement a new program aimed at developing individual service plans and a long term strategic plan for the organisation for the next ten years plus, ensuring Council is positioning its services for long term community needs.

This is a rare senior contributor role focusing on local government service planning, and to shape the program to reflect the needs of our community and organisation.

We’re looking for an experienced planner to help define our service profile, work with service managers to develop individual service plans, and develop a long term service plan aligned to asset, budget and workforce planning.

You will also lead the implementation of Council’s service review program, focused on the opportunity to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of our service offering to the community.
