We have an exciting permanent, full-time opportunity for an experienced and innovative Senior Strategic Planner Economic Development, to join our Strategic Planning and Economic Development team. Qualifications and experience

Essential:

  • Degree in Town Planning or a related field
  • Solid work experience in Town Planning
  • Current class “C” driver’s licence.

Desirable:

  • Comprehensive knowledge of Environmental Planning and Assessment Act and other relevant legislation and Government policies
  • Knowledge of applicable legislation/regulations
  • Computer literate
  • Demonstrated commitment to customer service
  • Ability to work within a team environment
  • Availability to work flexible working hours.

Remuneration and benefits

The salary and conditions of employment are in accordance with Blacktown City Council’s Enterprise Agreement.

  • Entry level for this position starts at $2,011.56 per week, pro-rata
  • 35-hour working week 
  • Car allowance
  • Employee benefits such as leave entitlements (where applicable), 11.5% employer contribution payable to your nominated superannuation fund, Fitness Passport, gym membership discounts, and social clubs.
