About the opportunity
This is a new role primarily responsible to assist and support the daily operations at Blacktown Exercise Sports and Technology Hub (BEST) which includes, the outdoor synthetic pitch, AFL/Cricket Function Room, future disability sport centre and onsite hotel and catering provider including reception, tenant, stakeholder and hirer interactions and bookings system management. This is a term contract, full-time role for up to 12 months, that will support the Bookings and Administration Officer Outdoor Sports Facilities BISP position with leave cover as required.
The position will report to the Venue Experience Supervisor BISP due to their close operational relationship working across the Sports Park and recently opened BEST hub and the large volume of tenant, hirer and community engagement being experienced over and above the existing facilities already onsite.
Qualifications and experience
Essential:
- Certificate IV in a related field or equivalent
- Extensive experience in a customer service role
- Ability to work within a team environment
- Current class “C” driver’s licence
- Current First Aid qualification.
Desirable:
- Knowledge of applicable legislation/regulations
- Computer literate including the use of cloud based booking platforms
- Demonstrated commitment to customer service
- Availability to work flexible working hours.
Remuneration and benefits
The salary and conditions of employment are in accordance with Blacktown City Council’s Enterprise Agreement.
- Entry level for this position starts at $1,510.58 per week
- 35-hour working week
