About the opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Support Officer with great customer service skills and a flexible approach to join our Community Development team on a term contract, full-time basis for up to 18 months. An ideal candidate will have excellent organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage competing priorities. 

You will provide administrative support to the section, and high level assistance to the Manager Community Development, which includes ensuring smooth workflow by regular clearing out trays and maintenance of a document register.

Qualifications and experience

Essential:

  • Certificate III in a related field
  • Suitable relevant work experience
  • Current class C driver's licence.

Remuneration and benefits

The salary and conditions of employment are in accordance with Blacktown City Council’s Enterprise Agreement.

  • Entry level for this position starts at $1,362.15 per week
  • 35-hour working week 
  • Opportunity to participate in Council's flextime arrangement
