About the opportunity
We're offering a fantastic permanent, part-time job share position for a motivated and hardworking Bush Regenerator, who is passionate about conservation and land management.
This is a job share role, meaning you will work closely with another team member to jointly fulfil the responsibilities of the position. Your schedule will be Thursdays and Fridays each week, plus one Monday shift each month, offering a steady yet adaptable work schedule. As this arrangement is designed to ensure consistency and coverage across the team, the days are set to support that structure.

- Revegetation and habitat restoration
- Asset protection and invasive weed control
- Bushland and wetland maintenance.
Make a real impact on the Cumberland Plain and help us protect native ecosystems from invasive species!
Qualifications and experience
Essential:
- Relevant qualifications in a related field such as, Bush Regeneration, Conservation and Land Management (CALM), Horticulture, Natural Resource Management or Environmental Science
- At least 12 months experience in all facets of the maintenance of bushland of the Cumberland Plain and constructed wetlands
- WorkCover approved WHS General Construction Induction for Work in NSW
- Pesticide Application Accreditation - Australian Qualifications Framework Level 3 (AQF3)
- Current class C driver's licence.
Desirable:
- Chainsaw operation certificate of competence
- Class MR driver's licence
- Experience in the supervision of volunteers.
Remuneration and benefits
The salary and conditions of employment are in accordance with Blacktown City Council’s Enterprise Agreement.
- Entry level for this position starts at $1,362.15 per week, pro-rata
- Thursday and Friday each week, and 1 Monday each month
