Vanessa Parkes is taking leave until the end of this year for family reasons and on this occasion, I have decided to put out an EOI to gauge interest in the acting opportunity. Please note that an EOI for acting at Director level will not always be sought.
Duration
It is expected that this opportunity will be available from early November 2025 until early January 2026. This period may be subject to variation.
About the opportunity
This is a great opportunity to lead one of Council’s most dynamic and community-focused areas. As the acting Director City Living, you will help shape the future of our city by guiding important projects, encouraging new ideas, and delivering services that support residents and neighbourhoods.
In this leadership role, you will provide stability and direction for the team, work closely with the Councillors, the executive team and partners across government and industry to help drive positive outcomes for a vibrant, inclusive, and sustainable city.
While this is a development opportunity, the capabilities of the role as defined in the position description are expected to be demonstrated to a reasonable degree.
