About the opportunity
We’re offering an exciting opportunity for a skilled and resilient professional to step into the role of Team Leader Civil Operations on a permanent, full‑time basis.
In this pivotal position, you will help drive our vision to become the best Council in Australia. You will lead the delivery of high‑quality services for our community and play a key role in managing and maintaining our civil assets.

Qualifications and experience
Essential:
- Extensive knowledge and experience in civil operations and asset maintenance
- Demonstrated ability to motivate staff in teams to achieve performance targets
- Previous experience in supervising and training staff
- Extensive experience in the operation and use of plant and equipment
- Demonstrated skills in working with and knowledge of Microsoft Office programs including Word, Excel and Outlook
- Certificate III or above or equivalent qualifications
- Current MR Driver’s licence.
Desirable:
- First Aid certificate
- Capacity, willingness and ability to apply mobility into daily planning, reporting and execution of tasks.
Remuneration and benefits
The salary and conditions of employment are in accordance with Blacktown City Council’s Enterprise Agreement.
- Entry level for this position starts at $1,408.84 per week
- 38-hour working week
- Rostered Day Off (RDO) every fortnight
