About the opportunity

In this term contract, full-time - 24 months role, you’ll play a key part in strengthening our organisation’s digital capability by developing and delivering engaging, modern technology learning experiences.

You’ll have the opportunity to shape how our people learn and grow, creating innovative eLearning solutions and coordinating dynamic online learning events that support capability uplift across the organisation. 

Qualifications and experience

Essential:

  • Relevant Diploma qualifications in an appropriate field
  • Certificate IV Training and Assessment
  • Solid experience as a Project officer or a related role
  • Demonstrated experience in the delivery of training and assessment together with development of competency based training programs and conducting workplace assessments
  • Demonstrated experience in learning and development models and application of contemporary training and development practice
  • Demonstrated experience in developing systems and processes to support cultural change
  • Demonstrated experience in change management
  • Demonstrated project management experience. 

Desirable: 

  • Certified in Articulate Rise 360 and/or Certified Articulate Storyline
  • Experience in delivering training on Microsoft 365 or enterprise systems
  • Experience facilitating face to face and virtual training events
  • Prior experience in instructional course design
  • Experience working with learning management systems. 

Remuneration and benefits

The salary and conditions of employment are in accordance with Blacktown City Council’s Enterprise Agreement.

  • Entry level for this position starts at $1,861.14 per week
  • 35-hour working week 
  • Opportunity to participate in Council's flextime arrangement
