About the opportunity

We are seeking to fill a permanent full-time position at the Kids' Early Learning head office.

This position will primarily be responsible for providing information, advice and service to Kids’ Early Learning (KEL) customers by understanding their needs and issues to determine mutually beneficial outcomes for them and KEL. 

Qualifications and experience

Essential:

  • Certificate of Attainment in a work-related customer service and or administration tertiary course
  • Solid customer service experience in a high-volume/transaction business
  • Strong administration skills
  • Effective written and verbal skills communication skills
  • A valid Working with Children Check number (WWCC). 

Desirable: 

  • Relevant qualifications (e.g. Certificate/Diploma in Business Administration)
  • Knowledge of early childhood education and care applicable legislation/regulations
  • Above average communication skills
  • Strong familiarity with website and mobile childcare software applications
  • Solid computer skills. 

Remuneration and benefits

The salary and conditions of employment are in accordance with Blacktown City Council’s Enterprise Agreement.

  • Entry level for this position starts at $1,315.70 per week
  • 35-hour working week 
  • Opportunity to participate in Council's flextime arrangement
  • Employee benefits such as leave entitlements (where applicable), 12% employer contribution payable to your nominated superannuation fund, Fitness Passport, gym membership discounts, and social clubs.
