This is an exciting permanent, full-time opportunity to join Blacktown City Council as we continue to grow. As a Human Resource Business Partner, you will partner with managers across the organisation to offer real influence, strong visibility and clear impact while helping shape a workplace that supports a fast growing and diverse city.

While partnering with managers to support making people decisions, your work is practical and visible in how teams operate each day. You will provide guidance to managers on organisational design including structures and position gradings.

You will work closely with operational leaders and the wider People and Culture team to support HR related functions including recruitment, employee relations, performance and disciplinary matters, leading workplace investigations, managing grievances and preparing documentation.

This role suits a trusted HR professional who enjoys working close to operations and building strong relationships with leaders. You bring strong generalist experience in a complex organisation and solid knowledge of industrial relations. You understand legislation and apply it in real situations. You communicate clearly, act with integrity and solve problems with confidence in a fast paced team.
