Greenspace Administration Assistant - Trees

Job No: BC3619
Location: Blacktown, NSW

Lead with purpose. Shape progress for a growing city.

This is an opportunity to join the Greenspace Services team as an Administration Assistant - Trees and help keep a busy service area running smoothly. You support the manager, coordinators and team by managing correspondence, processing applications and service requests, preparing reports, and responding to customer enquiries. Your work helps ensure tree-related matters are handled efficiently and residents receive timely, accurate information.

Each day, you coordinate VIP and departmental correspondence, maintain records in Council systems, prepare documentation for Council, and monitor follow-up actions to keep work moving. You answer phone and written enquiries, direct requests to the right staff, and liaise with residents, Councillors, staff and external stakeholders. You handle sensitive information with discretion, maintain accurate records, and help the team meet deadlines.

This role suits an organised and customer-focused administration professional who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment. You manage competing priorities, communicate clearly, and maintain attention to detail across reports, correspondence and service requests. You work well with others, take initiative, and provide reliable support when business needs change.
