Child Care OSHC Coordinator x 2

Job No: BC3621
Location: Blacktown, NSW

Serve with purpose. Grow through community.

Help create places where children learn, play and thrive outside school hours. As a Child Care OSHC Coordinator, you lead the daily operation of an out of school hours care and vacation care service. You create a safe and welcoming environment where children feel included, build friendships and develop confidence.

You plan and deliver play based programs aligned with My Time, Our Place, coordinate excursions and vacation care activities, and ensure children have engaging experiences before and after school. You lead and support a team of educators, organise staffing to meet required ratios, manage recruitment and induction, and provide coaching and performance feedback.

You maintain compliance with the National Quality Framework, oversee attendance, incident and regulatory records, manage service budgets and purchasing, and ensure play areas, equipment and resources are safe and ready for use. You also work closely with families, schools and community stakeholders, hold family meetings when needed, and support children through positive behaviour strategies.

The work you do supports children, while giving families confidence that their children are cared for in a quality service. Join a supportive team, enjoy secure employment, and continue to grow your leadership skills while making a practical difference in the community.

At Blacktown City Council, good people make great teams, and great teams build great cities. Here, you will find the stability and support to keep growing, along with:
