Our Community Development team works with young people, children, seniors, women, people with disability and culturally diverse communities across Blacktown City. As the Administration Assistant, you provide essential support to the Manager, helping ensure the section operates efficiently, remains responsive to community needs and delivers high-quality services.

You manage meeting schedules, coordinate agendas and papers, attend meetings and prepare accurate minutes. You respond to enquiries and correspondence, including VIP requests, track actions and due dates, maintain records and support the day-to-day administration of the section. You also process invoices, raise purchase orders, coordinate procurement activities and help monitor calendars, staff training and timesheets.

Your work helps the team stay focused on supporting a growing and diverse community of more than 460,000 residents. Through strong organisation skills, attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities, you ensure enquiries, meetings, records and financial processes are managed efficiently and on time. Your support plays an important role in enabling the team to provide quality services and achieve positive outcomes for the community.
