Help shape the customer experience for Blacktown City. As a Customer Service Officer, you are a key link between Council and the community. You respond to enquiries in person and over the phone, provide information about Council services, process payments and applications, and help customers resolve issues quickly and respectfully.

The work is varied and fast paced. You handle enquiries about Council operations, respond to requests and complaints, update records, perform cashier duties and connect customers with specialist staff when technical advice is needed. You maintain knowledge of Council services, products and activities so customers receive accurate information and practical support.

Every interaction has an impact. You help residents, businesses and visitors access services, understand processes and find the information they need. Your work strengthens trust in Council by providing professional, responsive and consistent service to a diverse community.
