Digital Producer

Job No: BC3724
Location: Blacktown, NSW

Design the future of a growing city

At Blacktown Arts, culture, place and people shape the work we do every day. Through exhibitions, performances, workshops and digital programs, we help people connect with local stories, ideas and experiences. As Digital Producer, you play a key role in creating and delivering digital arts programs that reflect the diversity and identity of Blacktown.

Working within the City Living directorate, you manage digital projects from concept through to delivery. You coordinate artist and contractor schedules, prepare contracts, monitor project budgets and develop project plans that keep programs on track. You create digital content for platforms including the Blacktown Arts website and social media channels, while working closely with artists, community organisations, marketing staff and other Council teams to deliver high quality outcomes.

You also contribute to audience engagement strategies, identify opportunities to grow participation, support cultural planning initiatives and prepare funding and award applications. The work is varied and often involves managing multiple projects and competing priorities at the same time.

Your work helps create a more connected, inclusive and culturally rich city. You support programs that bring people together, strengthen community connection and increase access to arts and culture across Blacktown.

At Blacktown City Council, good people make great teams, and great teams build great cities. Flexible working arrangements, professional development opportunities and the support of an experienced team help you continue to grow your career with confidence.

This role suits someone who enjoys managing digital projects, building relationships, engaging with communities and delivering excellent customer service with strong attention to detail.

At Blacktown City Council, good people make great teams, and great teams build great cities. Here, you will find the stability and support to keep growing, along with:

  • a term-contract, full-time role up to December 2027 with one of Australia's largest councils
  • an entry level salary commencing at $1,940.24 per week
