Programs Producer

Job No: BC3731
Location: Blacktown, NSW

Design the future of a growing city

At Blacktown Arts, culture, place and people shape the work we do every day. Our community values places where people can connect, share stories and engage with their city through arts and culture.

As Programs Producer, you work with the Coordinator Programming to develop and deliver exhibitions, workshops, performances, music programs and public events that reflect the identity and diversity of Blacktown. You coordinate artists and contractors, prepare contracts, manage project budgets and schedules, oversee project delivery and support audience engagement activities.

You contribute to funding applications, acquittals, cultural planning and partnership projects with artists, cultural organisations and community groups. You also work closely with Council teams including marketing, trades and sign shop to bring programs to life.

This role suits someone who enjoys managing multiple projects, building relationships and providing excellent customer service. Your work helps create opportunities for local artists, supports community participation and contributes to a more connected, inclusive and culturally rich city.

Join a motivated team that supports professional development, flexible working arrangements and the opportunity to grow your career while delivering programs people can see, experience and enjoy.

At Blacktown City Council, good people make great teams, and great teams build great cities. Here, you will find the stability and support to keep growing, along with:

  • a term-contract, full-time role up to December 2027 with one of Australia's largest councils
  • an entry level salary commencing at $1,940.24 per week

  • access to Council's flextime arrangement
  • 12% superannuation and competitive leave entitlements

  • access to Fitness Passport, social clubs and wellbeing programs.
