Location:
Blacktown, NSW
Design the future of a growing city.
Help shape the parks, recreation facilities and public spaces used across Blacktown City every day. You take projects from planning and design through to delivery, creating practical spaces that support sport, recreation and community connection.
As Project Manager Landscape and Public Space, you manage a portfolio of open space, recreation and urban design projects. You review landscape plans, coordinate specialist consultants and contractors, prepare tender and contract documents, manage procurement and monitor project budgets. You undertake site inspections, track progress and resolve design or delivery issues as they arise.
You work with internal teams, sporting groups, stakeholders and residents to understand community needs and inform project designs. You manage consultation, provide advice on recreation and open space planning, monitor risks and ensure designs meet relevant standards and Council requirements.
This role suits an experienced project manager with qualifications in project management, landscape architecture, urban design, sports management or a related field. You must bring experience in open space planning and design, stakeholder management and managing multiple projects at different stages.
