About The Opportunity

As the IS Infrastructure Team Leader, you will provide leadership to a small team of Infrastructure and Service Desk staff . You'll oversee the complete lifecycle management of our extensive IT infrastructure assets, which include end-user computing, sophisticated servers and storage solutions, ensuring our IT systems are not only secure but also offer unparalleled reliability and performance. Your role involves crafting and executing a forward-thinking IT infrastructure roadmap, aligning with our strategic goals, managing budgeting with a keen eye on maximizing value and mitigating risks. 

About You

  • Tertiary qualifications in Information Technology or a related discipline and extensive proven relevant industry experience in IT infrastructure management, preferably in a large and complex organisation.
  • Proven leadership capabilities, with a track record of motivating and guiding teams, enhancing team member skills, and cultivating a work environment aligned with the organization's core values.
  • Comprehensive knowledge and practical experience in various IT infrastructure areas, such as networking, servers, cloud computing, storage, and security, including proficiency with technologies like Microsoft, AWS, and VMware.
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively develop and manage goals, plans, projects and operational and capital budgets to achieve team objectives and aspirations.
  • High-level communication, presentation, and social skills, capable of effectively engaging with senior management and key stakeholders.
