About the Opportunity
Your role as a Labourer within the Venues and Facilities department will support the trades team with a variety of maintenance, repairs and construction activities on Council's buildings, structures and properties in a safe, professional and efficient manner.
About You
- Significant experience in building and or civil construction and maintenance works at a trade equivalent standard or similar
- Demonstrated sound knowledge of construction and maintenance methods
- Ability to operate small plant and equipment in a safe manner
- Good interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively both written and verbal to internal and external customers
- Sound computer literacy, utilising Microsoft Office software
- Ability to work outside of normal hours as required
- Possession of a current Class ‘C’ Driver’s License and a current Construction Industry General Safety Induction card
- Live and uphold the Council's values
- Desired: MR or HR Licence
