About the Opportunity

Your role as a Labourer within the Venues and Facilities department will support the trades team with a variety of maintenance, repairs and construction activities on Council's buildings, structures and properties  in a safe, professional and efficient manner. 

About You

  • Significant experience in building and or civil construction and maintenance works at a trade equivalent standard or similar
  • Demonstrated sound knowledge of construction and maintenance methods 
  • Ability to operate small plant and equipment in a safe manner
  • Good interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively both written and verbal to internal and external customers
  • Sound computer literacy, utilising Microsoft Office software
  • Ability to work outside of normal hours as required
  • Possession of a current Class ‘C’ Driver’s License and a current Construction Industry General Safety Induction card
  • Live and uphold the Council's values
  • Desired: MR or HR Licence
