About The Opportunity

Join Bundaberg Regional Council’s dynamic communications team in a role that offers variety, excitement, and the chance to shape the voice of our community.
We’re seeking Marketing Advisors for multiple parental leave contract positions—ideal for skilled marketers who thrive in fast-paced, adaptable environments.

What you’ll do:
- Strategize and create: Develop and implement impactful marketing strategies to support Council’s communication goals.
- Content creation: Craft engaging content for print, broadcast, web, and social media platforms.
- Campaign management: Oversee campaigns from start to finish, including evaluation and reporting on their success.
- Brand championing: Ensure all materials align with Council’s Corporate Plan and Branding Guidelines, upholding the quality and integrity of the Council’s brand.
About You
- Demonstrated experience in marketing, communications and/or promotions
- Proven skills and experience in producing marketing campaigns in a similar role
- Proven ability to write and edit high quality and accurate content
- Knowledge of digital and social media tools and applying this knowledge to communicate on behalf of Council
- Experience in market research, market segment analysis and information collation and dissemination through the use of email, newspapers, internet and other sources
- Demonstrated experience in managing budgets for campaigns
- The ability to prioritise tasks, meet deadlines and manage changing priorities whilst maintaining a high level of customer service
- An eye for detail and a flair for creative and engaging content
- Experience within the Adobe Creative suite highly considered
- Website content management experience desired
