About The Opportunity
Are you an experienced administrative professional with a keen eye for detail and a passion for the arts? Bundaberg Regional Galleries is seeking a Senior Administration Officer to oversee and implement policies and procedures that ensure the seamless operation of our administrative systems.
About You
- Certificate Ill of Business Administration or the equivalent or demonstrated sound knowledge of and experience in office administration support activities
- Administrative experience in an arts environment with specific and demonstrable experience in supervising the implementation and management of complex software and management systems
- Experience in providing confidential, client-focussed and high-quality administrative support
- The ability to cultivate a customer focused culture and deliver exceptional visitor experiences
- Ability to work flexible hours appropriate for the operation of the venue
- Ability to interact and communicate with all levels of staff, suppliers, public and government bodies
- Demonstrated self-management and organisational skills, including an ability to manage time, plan and organise own work
- A high level written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to gather data from corporate information systems to ensure efficient and effective delivery of administrative services.
- Ability to provide timely and accurate financial and administrative support in an Arts-based environment.
- A genuine interest in visual art
- Current Open “C” Class Driver’s License
- Sound knowledge of Council’s functions and procedures and/or Local Government experience desirable.
- Current Working with Children Check (Blue Card) desirable.
Please note that this role is primarily based at Childers Art Gallery; however, there will be a requirement to work at Bundaberg Regional Galleries as well.
