About The Opportunity
We’re looking for a skilled and community-minded leader to coordinate Bundaberg Regional Council’s Local Laws Compliance Team. This role oversees investigations, inspections, and enforcement activities across the region, including animal management and parking compliance. You’ll also support budget planning and drive continuous improvement across the team. Your work will help ensure our community remains safe, respectful, and well-regulated.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will need to demonstrate the following key selection criteria:
- At least 5 years’ experience in local government regulatory services and animal management.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with a focus on mentoring and collaboration.
- High-level knowledge of Queensland’s local laws and regulatory frameworks.
- Proven ability to manage conflict, lead change, and build high-performing teams.
- Certificate IV in Government (Statutory Investigation and Enforcement) or equivalent.
