About The Opportunity
This Leading Hand position is an excellent opportunity for an experienced individual to take the next step and lead a small team. This position is part of a multi-disciplined team delivering a wide range of maintenance, repair, and construction activities within the Civil branch. This role specifically runs the patching truck to do bituminous spraying and asphalt works.
As a Leading Hand, you will also be required to assist the Supervisor in carrying out their duties, including leading small teams to deliver maintenance, minor works or specific tasks, and complete all task and project documentation.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will need to demonstrate the following key selection criteria:
- Possess a class 'MR' driver's licence.
- Demonstrated experience in roads and drainage construction and maintenance.
- Demonstrated team leadership skills with the ability to motivate and encourage team members.
- Possess a current Construction Industry General Safety Induction Card.
