About The Opportunity

This is a great opportunity to join Bundaberg Regional Council as an Administration Officer supporting Regional Growth and Development Directorate. In this role, you'll provide essential administrative and customer service support across functions such as development assessment, environmental health, and local laws. 

This permanent part-time opportunity offers a minimum of 34 hours a fortnight, providing flexibility while contributing to meaningful community outcomes. You'll play an important role in supporting services that directly impact the region's growth and development. 

About You

You're proactive and customer focused administrator who thrives in a busy, high-volume environment. You bring a positive attitude and enjoy working collaboratively while also being confident working independently.

You will demonstrate: 

  • Experience in a high-volume, customer-focused administrative environment 
  • Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office and data/records systems
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • A professional, discreet approach when handling sensitive information
  • A team-orientated mindset with a proactive, "can-do" attitude

Qualifications in business and/or administration are desirable but not required.
