About The Opportunity

Bundaberg Regional Council is seeking two Accounts Payable Officers to join our Financial Operations team, with one full-time and one part-time (24 hours per week) opportunity available. 

In this role, you will deliver timely, accurate and customer-focused accounts payable services across Council. You will support end-to-end accounts payable functions including invoice processing, creditor reconciliations, payment processing and maintaining financial systems, helping ensure the efficient operation of Council's financial activities. 

Working within a collaborative and values-driven team, you will contribute to accurate financial management while providing high-quality service to internal and external stakeholders, 

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Demonstrated relevant experience in a Finance, Creditors or Accounts Payable role within a medium to large organisation. 
  • Demonstrated experience working in a role involving high volumes of financial data entry.
  • The ability to provide timely, accurate and customer-focused service. 
  • A willingness to undertake other reasonable duties as required and contribute to team outcomes

A diploma or Certificate qualification in finance, accounting or a related field is desirable.
