About The Opportunity
Our Water Services' Treatment Team is seeking an experienced Senior Treatment Operator to join our Wastewater team! As a Senior Treatment Operator, this role will operate, maintain, and monitor the performance of Water Services' treatment plants, including accurate recording and reporting of readings, operating process laboratory testing, and determining appropriate procedures and corrective measures to ensure the treatment assets are functioning within prescribed/critical/quality control points.
As a Senior Treatment Operator, you will also be responsible for providing guidance and assistance to other Treatment Plant Operators regarding appropriate operation and maintenance at the treatment plants.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will need to demonstrate the following key selection criteria:
- Certificate III in Water & Wastewater Treatment Operations (Dual Ticket) or equivalent.
- Demonstrated experienced in wastewater treatment operations.
- Demonstrated experience mentoring and supporting other team members.
- Advanced level ability to operate plant process control systems, including SCADA systems.
- Possession of a current Class 'C' Driver's Licence.
