About The Opportunity
Your role as a Community Care Worker is to provide assistance to clients of the Commonwealth Home Support Programs operated by Bundaberg Regional Council across the region.
About You
- Ability to relate well to clients and carers and show a genuine interest in the welfare of the client
- Knowledge and understanding of Commonwealth Home Support Program
- You are currently studying or have successfully completed a Certificate III in Aged Care/Community Services/Disability work or equivalent
- Current first aid and resuscitation certificates, or ability to obtain within 3 months of commencing employment
- Intermediate computer skills utilising MS Word, along with data entry and typing skills
- The ability to work autonomously and in a team, with a positive 'can do' attitude
- Lifestyle and Leisure Certificate IV will be highly regarded
- Live and uphold the Council's values

The Selection Process
The preferred candidate will be required to undertake a National Police Clearance and Pre-employment Medical (which may include drug and alcohol testing), as part of the recruitment process you will be required to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 and provide the appropriate evidence.
