About the Opportunity
Waters Services at Bundaberg Regional Council is a thriving and committed group of professionals dedicated to achieving the best outcomes for the region and it's residents. This position sits with the Process and Asset Management function of Water Services and oversees a small group of dedicated technical experts with specialities in mechanical reliability, electrical, SCADA and instrumentation. In this role you will report directly to the Manager Process and Asset Management.
Your role as Senior Water Engineer will motivate and lead a technical engineering team within Water Services to ensure safe, innovative and reliable solutions.
About You
- Tertiary qualifications in the field of Process Engineering or an equivalent field
- Demonstrated experience in working with Water Services
- Demonstrated strong technical abilities and organisational skills with a proven ability to manage consultants
- Highly developed written and oral communication skills, including excellent liaison skills
- Live and uphold the Council's values
