About the Role
As a senior member of the maternity team, the Clinical Midwife (Level 2 RM) supports the Clinical Manager Maternity Services through key leadership and operational responsibilities, including coordinating resources, applying contemporary clinical evidence, and collaborating with allied health partners. The role contributes to staff development, quality improvement activities, and the achievement of NSQHS Standards.
Practising at an advanced clinical level, the Clinical Midwife delivers safe, evidence‑based, patient‑centred care across the full continuum of midwifery. The role undertakes comprehensive assessment, intervention and evaluation, provides expert guidance in complex situations, and works closely with the medical team to optimise outcomes. With responsibility for a defined clinical portfolio, the Clinical Midwife strengthens team capability and supports ongoing service improvement.
This is an exciting opportunity for a suitably experienced Registered Midwife to join our dynamic, high‑performing team at our Toorak Gardens location. This role is offered on a full‑time basis, which is our preferred arrangement; however, we are also open to flexible part‑time options from 0.6 FTE through to full‑time for the right candidate.
