Program Overview:
Our one-year Transition to Professional Practice Program is designed for recent nursing graduates ready to embark on a rewarding healthcare career. This structured program will guide you from academic learning to hands on patient care, helping you build clinical skills and confidence in a supportive learning environment.

- Perioperative - Scrub Scout
- Perioperative - Recovery & Day Surgery
- Ward Nurse
- Recovery, Day Surgery & Ward

As a participant, you will:
- Build confidence in identifying and managing deteriorating patients
- Explore special interests to improve patient care in an acute setting
- Provide high-quality care under the guidance of experienced clinical coaches
- Attend regular workshops and educational sessions to deepen your knowledge
- Engage in reflective practice and receive constructive feedback
About you…
Not only are you going to be enthusiastic and driven but you're also motivated to enrich your learning through enriching professional experience. You have previously worked as part of team and desire to demonstrate how your strong interpersonal and team skills can add value while you undertake your learning. You're likely to be a student for life and continuously seek out information to keep abreast of knowledge in areas which interests you.
We are seeking recent graduates who wants to grow with us and build a relationship which will be of mutual benefit. The following are key skills which will place you in excellent stead to succeed within our program.
- Communication skills which include techniques such as active listening, appropriate body language, assertiveness, presentation skills, and the effective giving and receiving of feedback.
- Teamwork skills requires one to be skilled at communication, leadership, conflict resolution, problem-solving, giving and receiving feedback, and identifying important goals.
- Interpersonal skills like confidence, assertiveness, empathy, and conflict resolution.
