About the Role…
As the supply clerk is integral to our Supply Department, working between Stepney and Toorak Gardens, the role works in inventory control across multiple areas, and administrative tasks to ensure our operations run smoothly. This position offers a unique opportunity to directly impact patient care by maintaining the availability and accuracy of medical supplies.
You will be responsible for overseeing inventory processes and collaborating with various units within the hospital to foster excellent relationships and promote teamwork.
About you…
We seek a motivated and detail-oriented individual who is able to work in a team as well as independently. You are passionate about contributing to a healthcare environment with the following qualifications and traits:
- Formal qualifications in a relevant field or actively pursuing them.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to meet deadlines independently.
- Proficient in information technology, including email and operating systems.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to build effective relationships with internal and external partners.
- Medical experience an advantage but not essential.

About us….
An exciting new chapter for Burnside Hospital, culminating in the creation of Burnside Hospital Stepney. The acquisition of a new hospital allows us to expand our operations across two conveniently located sites in the eastern suburbs.
With this strategic move, we effectively double our capabilities, growing from five operating theatres to ten and increasing our bed count from 76 to 125. Most importantly, this expansion enables us to provide even more care to our community.
