About us

For over 30 years we’ve supported and protected some of the most fragile ecosystems across the continent and seen the impact of our science-based approach. We keep our eyes on the horizon and focus firmly on long-term, landscape scale impact. As a national, not-for-profit, we want to continue to expand the areas we protect and deepen the impact we have. We work in partnership with Traditional Owners, listening to and learning from the customs and cultures that came before us.

Together we can heal and protect the bush, now and into the future.

About the role

Bush Heritage’s 2030 Strategy is to improve biodiversity protection, function and connectivity across landscapes. Bush Heritage is committed to advancing sustainability and taking meaningful action against climate change. As part of our 2024-2027 sustainability targets, we aim to refine our tracking methods to monitor progress effectively and ensure the integrity of our data capture and reporting.

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented intern to support the development of a robust and streamlined process for collecting and reporting greenhouse gas data. This role will focus on identifying existing data sources, improving data mapping, and implementing automation to enhance efficiency. By strengthening our reporting framework, this internship will contribute directly to inspiring climate action and ensuring Bush Heritage meets its long-term sustainability commitments.

The intern will work 3 days a week between Monday and Friday.
