We are seeking suitably qualified Team Leader Support Worker to join the team at Blue Haven.
In this role you will supervise our team of Support Workers to ensure effective, safe and quality services are delivered across the Shoalhaven, Kiama, Shellharbour and Wollongong Local Government areas in line with funding guidelines. As part of your role, you will be responsible for ensuring that support workers receive regular supervision, clinical support, and training. Additionally, you will provide assistance to case managers in delivering funded programs.
To be successful in this role you will need:
- Degree qualification in Nursing
- Current AHPRA Registration
- Experience working with aged or people with a disability preferably in a community setting
- Experience with using an electronic Client Management System
- The ability to lead and manage staff within a team environment
- An understanding and experience of Consumer Directed Care and Person Centred Care
- A willingness and ability to support the on-call roster providing phone support to direct care worker and volunteers as required
- Current Driver’s License.
We offer:
- Permanent part time role, 21 to 28 hours per week
(This role is part of a job share arrangement and the hours are negotiable) - Annual salary of $79,714.82 to $94,729.94 pro rata
- Plus 11% superannuation
- Plus applicable penalty rates in line with the award
- A leaseback vehicle for personal and private use for eligible employees
(Employees must be employed to work a minimum of 28 hours per week to be eligible for a leaseback vehicle).
