Are you a communications professional who can write and create content that audiences love? If you know your grammar and can turn around anything from web content to media releases or social media posts with ease, we have the opportunity you’ve been waiting for in our mining, rail, port and renewables business in Queensland. We are looking for a top quality communications professional with seven years plus experience to join our team.
We need someone to join our innovative team to implement our digital and online reputation management and brand sponsorship strategies. To be successful you will be creative, driven, an expert at problem-solving and must stay across trends, innovations and developments in the areas of brand, social and digital media and online reputation management. The position works closely with others in our communications, community and ESG team.
- Implement the Online Reputation Management strategy for Bravus’ businesses in Australia working with our expert contractors including the Search Engine Optimisation strategy and managing our websites, social and digital media strategy including risk identification and management, social media planning, posting, content creation, boosting, create and curate audiences and advertising.
- Contribute to the implementation of the brand strategy including activating brand sponsorships, advertising and campaigns, including overseeing production of creative assets and liaising with brand sponsorship partner organisations.
- Measure and evaluate the effectiveness of brand and online reputation management activity and report regularly to drive value from spend and ensure best-in-class performance.
- Support and collaborate with team members as required to implement our Annual Reputation Plan including copywriting, power point presentations, crisis and issues management and content creation.
- Work with businesses and other team members to develop engaging content for traditional media and internal communication and seek approvals for web and social content.
- Social media reporting: compile key social media performance statistics for internal reports. Understand these statistics and use them to identify and action improvements.
- Manage the budget allocated for the brand and online reputation management strategies and drive excellent value from our spend.
- Manage the work of external social media moderators, social media channel administrators and social media listening contractors, advertising agencies, media buyers/media outlets and graphic designers.
- Maintain a thorough understanding of current affairs, events and the media landscape and how these relate to Bravus’ various businesses and Adani’s businesses outside of Australia
- Stay across new developments in social media, digital media platform management, search engine optimisation and online reputation management, rule changes and users’ preferences and use them to improve performance of our channels,
- Maintain positive collaborative relationships with key internal stakeholders across our business.
