About Us

We are the mining services contractor for Bravus Carmichael Mine and together we are creating jobs and opportunities for regional Queensland. Production is in full swing at the mine site located in the Galilee Basin and we’re excited to be building our team with these additional roles as we ramp up our next fleets!

Townsville and Rockhampton are our primary recruitment hubs, and we are also offering flights from Mackay.  We encourage and will consider applications from all regional Queensland communities.

About the Role

In this position, you will:

• Operate 400t+ excavators on site as directed by management
  Carry out pre-start and post operational checks on plant equipment prior to operation
  Operation of plant and equipment to reduce cycle times and prevent unnecessary maintenance
  Comply with site SOPs
  Clearly communicate with other operators, supervisors and other personnel as necessary to ensure safe operation of plant and equipment

What you'll need to succeed:

• Have a minimum of 12 months previous experience in a mining environment in operating large 400t+ Excavators and Dozers 
• Relevant RII competencies, or competencies signed off within the last 5 years
• Current Standard 11 & drivers' licence
• Ensure safety is maintained at all times
• Be flexible and interested in contributing as a valued member of the team
• Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and work within teams to develop and implement solutions.
