ABOUT THE ROLE

Bravus Mining & Resources is seeking an experienced Workforce Services and Contracts Superintendent to join our Operations Enabling Services team at the Carmichael Mine. This critical leadership role is responsible for overseeing the end-to-end coordination of workforce logistics, including flights, accommodation, and airfield operations, ensuring the safe, efficient, and cost-effective movement of site-based personnel.

As a key leader within our site operations, you'll be instrumental in driving continuous improvement, optimising workforce planning systems, and ensuring that our contractor partners deliver against safety, operational, and commercial performance expectations.

Workforce Logistics (Flights)

• Lead and manage the full lifecycle of workforce logistics operations.
• Collaborate with site departments and rostering teams to forecast and coordinate flight schedules.
• Maximise seat utilisation through alignment with workforce plans and operational rosters.
• Identify and implement automation and process improvement opportunities.

Accommodation Management

• Collaborate with accommodation contractors to optimise occupancy and service delivery.
• Ensure high standards of camp cleanliness, maintenance, and service provision.
• Drive initiatives to improve the efficiency and utilisation of accommodation assets.

Contractor Management & Development

• Act as the key interface with logistics and accommodation service contractors.
• Define clear KPIs, monitor performance, and lead regular contractor reviews.
• Review and approve claims and contract queries.
• Support and coach contractor supervisors and frontline leaders to succeed in a dynamic operating environment.
• Promote a collaborative and safety-focused contractor culture.

REQUIREMENTS OF THE ROLE

Other qualifications and attributes required include:

• Tertiary qualification in Business, Management or a related field.
• Demonstrated experience in contract management and workforce logistics.
• Proven ability to engage, manage, and develop contractor performance.
• Strong planning, analytical, and operational oversight capabilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Leadership skills with a focus on coaching, collaboration, and influencing outcomes.

Desired Attributes:

• Understanding of aviation operations, fatigue management, and remote workforce compliance.
