About the role

We are currently seeking an experienced CHPP Operator / Maintainers (Electrical/Mechanical) to join our team on site in Central QLD. This role is a full time max term contract dated to September 2025 with 7/7. Whilst Rockhampton and Townsville
are our primary recruitment hubs we encourage and will consider applicants from all regional Queensland communities.

Duties will include but not be limited to:-

  • Operate and monitor the preparation plant
  • Perform breakdown maintenance tasks as required
  • Operate stockpile dozers to manage the product coal stockpile, reclaim operations and train loading
  • Maintain CHPP equipment as requested during scheduled maintenance periods
  • Housekeeping and general maintenance of all areas of the CHPP and Train Loadout

To be successful in this role, you will have:-

  • Mechanical or Electrical Trade Qualification
  • Relevant experience as an Operator Maintainer on a Processing Plant - Desirable
  • Previous experience in a similar position within the mining industry
  • Current Australian Drivers License - Essential
  • Right to Work in Australia
  • Current Standard 11 - Highly regarded
  • Current Coal Board Medical - Highly regarded
  • Demonstrated safety focus with the ability to work safely and effectively as part of a dynamic team
