Salary:  $940.70 - $988.35 per week + super

Position Status: Permanent full-time

Hours of work: 35 hour week with RDO every third week

About the Role

Council is seeking a Rates Clerk with exceptional customer service skills. Ideally, the successful applicant will have knowledge and at least one years experience in local government rating and property database management.

If you have excellent communication, customer, organisational and team skills along with relevant experience, you are invited to apply.

 

Key requirements:  
  • Basic knowledge of land title and conveyancing concepts
  • Basic understanding of accounting procedures
  • Ability to use PC Applications and the Internet
  • Be proficient with Excel, at a minimum intermediate level
  • Good cash handling and reconciliation skills
  • Good numeracy and reconciliation skills with a high degree of accuracy
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Be able to communicate effectively with others
  • Experience in Local Government rating
  • Experience with Civica Authority or similar
