Hours of work: 35 hour week with RDO every third week

About the Role
Bathurst Regional Council is seeking applications for an Infrastructure Development Engineer. The position principally involves the project delivery of Council’s land development program, which involves the design and delivery of substantial subdivisions each year. The successful candidate will be required to have extensive subdivision design expertise in AutoCAD Civil3D and relevant drainage software and contract management experience.
The position oversees a number of technical staff engaged in projects within the Engineering Services Section, in a friendly team working
environment.
The successful candidate will possess a Bachelor Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent and have relevant Project management experience.
Key requirements:
- Extensive civil design experience using AutoCAD Civil3D Civil Site Design, XPSTORM or similar civil design and drainage packages
- Contract development and project supervision of capital works projects of the order of $3-5M each
- Management of Strategic Engineering functions, including Section 94 Developer Contribution Plans
- Management of section staff (5 in total).
