Hours of Work: 38 hours per week with an RDO every two weeks

About the Opportunity

Bathurst Regional Council is dedicated to enhancing the quality of life for our community by delivering essential infrastructure and services. We are seeking a motivated and experienced Coordinator to oversee the Road Maintenance Council Contract (RMCC) in partnership with Transport for NSW (TfNSW). This role offers the opportunity to contribute to the maintenance and improvement of our vital road network.

 

About the role

The RMCC Coordinator is responsible for administering and managing the Road Maintenance Council Contract (RMCC), ensuring compliance with all contractual and legislative requirements. This includes coordinating and supervising road maintenance and construction projects such as resealing, patching, and line marking. The role involves liaising with Transport for NSW (TfNSW), contractors, and internal teams to ensure effective communication and project delivery.

 

Essential Criteria:

  • Qualifications: Relevant qualifications in civil engineering, construction management, or a related field.
  • Licensing: Current NSW Class C Driver’s Licence.
  • Certifications: White Card (Work Health & Safety Induction for Construction Work).
  • Experience: Proven experience in road maintenance and construction, with a strong understanding of RMCC processes.
  • Skills: Excellent written and oral communication skills, with the ability to prepare reports and engage with stakeholders effectively.
  • Teamwork: Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within a team and manage multiple priorities.
