About the role

This position is responsible for the contract development and project supervision for building capital works projects to the order of $1M. The position will be responsible for supervising building maintenance services to Council buildings, including supervision of contract building maintenance staff and arranging maintenance activities.

 

The successful candidate will possess a Trade Certificate in a relevant discipline and have relevant project management experience.

Key Requirements

  • Possess a Trade Certificate in a relevant discipline
  • Qualifications and demonstrated ability in Project Management of municipal works.
  • Possess or be in process of obtaining Certificate IV – Building and Construction.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of tendering procedures
  • Demonstrated ability of staff supervision
  • Advanced ability to accept authority and accountability
  • Demonstrated knowledge of Work Health and Safety Legislation
  • Possess WHS General Induction Card
  • Possess a current New South Wales Driver's License

Salary: $1,615.10 - $1,696.99 per week + super 

Position Status: Permanent Full-time

Hours of work: 35 hours per week with an RDO every third week
