The Opportunity and responsibilities:
As a Medical Receptionist, you will work as a member of a much larger multidisciplinary team, supporting your Administration Team Leader.
As part of your role, you are responsible for:
- Providing a high standard of patient care
- Answering general enquiries
- Making and confirming patient bookings, including examination preparation and information
- Liaising with referring medical professionals
- Preparation and finalisation of billing, including Medicare, private and third party
- Result preparation
- General office duties
To be successful in this role you will be required to display a positive attitude, excellent customer service, effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Your ability to multitask, work as part of a team and maintain an attention to detail will set you apart.
Your ability to be flexible, to make change and adapt, grow and learn new techniques, will ensure you secure a position in our highly skilled team.
Previous experience in a medical receptionist/administrator role is advantageous, however definitely not essential.
