The Opportunity

We have an opportunity for a qualified individual to coordinate the Technical Services Team for the pre-construction, design, implementation and finalisation of a range of projects; civil, public domain and structures.

As Technical Services Coordinator, you will coordinate the design and documentation of a range of projects; civil, public domain and structures for BVSC, as well as supervise, mentor, provide professional development and coordinate the Technical Services team activities, including Cadets. You will develop and implement Project Plans and programs in accordance with agreed briefs and scopes.

About You

We are seeking an individual who holds the following qualifications and licences;

  • Degree-level qualification in Engineering or related discipline
  • Computer-aided design course or 10 years related-experience (indicative) in the use of Autocad, Civil Cad & Civil 3D 
  • SafeWork NSW General Construction Induction Card (White Card)
  • Current NSW Class C Drivers Licence

You will have the following skills and experience;

  • Demonstrated experience in project, consultant and contractor management
  • Proven ability to lead a small highly skilled team in delivery to tight and changing deadlines
  • Demonstrated high level knowledge and experience in the design and delivery of civil works projects. Five (5) years’ experience (indicative)
  • High level written and verbal communication skills including the ability to liaise and negotiate effectively with internal and external stakeholders

Benefits

This is a permanent full time position working 35 hours per week.

The total remuneration package for this position commences at $124,331.48 gross per annum, comprising of:

  • $2,088.20 per week base salary
  • $229.70 per week superannuation (calculated at 11%)
  • $73.09 per week Civil Liability Allowance (calculated at 3.5%)
