The Opportunity
We have an opportunity for an organised and motivated individual to provide administrative, technical and research services for the Waste Services Section.
As Waste Administration Officer, you will develop and maintain spread sheets for recording waste management information. You will monitor approvals and lodge invoices for payment as well as prepare meeting agenda and meeting minutes.

About You
We are seeking an individual who hold a Certificate IV in Business Administration or a related discipline and has three (3) years recent and relevant work experience (indicative).
You will have the following skills and experience;
- Advanced word processing skills (Microsoft Word) and ability to develop templates and macros according to organisational style guides and standards.
- Knowledge and ability in the use of Microsoft software packages including Excel and PowerPoint.
- Knowledge and demonstrated experience in the use of records and database management systems.
- Advanced written and verbal communication skills, including demonstrated minute taking skills.
Benefits
This is a fixed term full time position working 35 hours per week until 30 June 2026.
The total remuneration package for this position commences at $80,922.69 gross per annum, comprising of:
- $1395.70 per week base salary
- $160.51 per week superannuation (calculated at 11.5%)
