The Opportunity
We have an opportunity for an innovative and precise individual to assist with the development and implementation of asset management systems, policies, procedures and programs for all water supply, sewerage and recycled water assets, including the overseeing of contractors providing associated services.
As an Engineer in water and Sewer, you will assist with the development and maintenance of long-term financial models and development and review of asset elements of BVSC’s Delivery Plan, Operational Plan and Water & Sewerage Asset Management Plans. You will also administer works programs including setting of works standards, inspections, systems monitoring, reporting and other related activities

About You
We are seeking an individual who holds an Engineering degree or Advanced Diploma in civil, electrical or mechanical engineering, or related field and has well-developed knowledge and demonstrated experience in electrical, mechanical, or civil engineering You will have the following skills and experience;
- Demonstrated understanding of water supply, sewerage and recycled water systems, including relevant statutory requirements.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Demonstrated experience in engineering design, installation, maintenance, and project management.
- Well-developed communication, teamwork, and stakeholder engagement skills.
Benefits
This is a permanent, full time position working 35 hours per week.
The total remuneration package for this position commences at $121,129.06 gross per annum (inclusive), comprising of:
- $2,016.80 per week base salary
- $242.02 per week superannuation (calculated at 12%)
- $70.59 per week Civil Liability Allowance (calculated at 3.5%)
