The Opportunity
We have an opportunity for a detailed-oriented and resourceful individual coordinate Council’s projects team for the planning, procurement, and delivery of capital infrastructure projects at all points of the project cycle from detailed planning to delivery and commissioning, including representing BVSC in the management of consultants and contractors.
As a Projects and Contracts Coordinator, you will coordinate the planning, procurement, and delivery of capital projects for all points of the project cycle from detailed planning to delivery and commissioning for BVSC and monitor and review the resourcing requirements of the Project team and in conjunction with the Works and Projects Manager and develop delivery plans and recruitment. You will also prepare project briefs and tender documentation calling for preliminary design, investigations, concept design, detailed design, and/or construction services.

About You
We are seeking an individual who holds a bachelor's degree in an engineering or project/construction management discipline appropriate to the position and a current NSW Class C Drivers Licence.
You will have the following skills and experience;
- Demonstrated experience (5 years indicative) in managing a team of project managers, consultants, and contractor management.
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience (5 years indicative) in the delivery of civil and/or public infrastructure works projects.
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience (5 years indicative) in the current best practice methodologies in project management.
- Experience delivering works across all aspects of the project life cycle.
Benefits
This is a permanent, full time position working 35 hours per week.
The total remuneration package for this position commences at $129,648.06 gross per annum, comprising of:
- $2,226.10 per week base salary
- $267.13 per week superannuation (calculated at 12%)
