The Opportunity
We have an opportunity for an inquisitive individual to undertake an undergraduate qualification in engineering and learn a variety of engineering-based functions and activities by participating as a team member in engineering and project teams.
As an Engineering Cadet, you will undertake academic studies at undergraduate level and apply theoretical learnings to workplace activities to reinforce learnings. You will assist in the provision of engineering services such as engineering project management and data analysis. You will identify and use contemporary technology and equipment.

About You
We are seeking an individual who has eligibility for entrance into degree level study in an engineering discipline and has completed their Higher School Certificate (or equivalent).
You will have the following skills and experience;
- Demonstrated broad interest in a science or engineering subject.
- Good written and verbal communication skills including the ability to liaise effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
- Demonstrated experience in the use of Microsoft Office suite.
- Analytical thinking and ability to solve problems logically.
Benefits
This is a fixed-term, full-time position working 35 hours per week for a period of six (6) years.
The total remuneration package for this position commences at $55,194.05 gross per annum, comprising of:
- $947.70 per week base salary
- $113.72 per week superannuation (calculated at 12%)
